Last week, we reported on the diss track Cam'Ron made for Jay-Z. The Dip Set front man recently spoke out about the song in a radio interview with NYC's Hot 97.During the interview, Cam shed light on how the diss track came to be. He also spoke about how Jay's concert, which was deemed I Declare War, made a lot of people think Jay would take shots at him."So you know leading up to the concert, I got Dame calling me like, 'He's trying to get old footage of you of when you and Jim got jumped and he's trying to find Jim's Catholic school pictures.' So leading up to this concert, we had to get on point, you dig? I don't know whatever he was looking for, you ain't gonna find it," he added. Now, in some startling news, another one of Jay's rivals is now on Jay's side. The New York Times is reporting that Nas will join Jigga's Def Jam which will work alongside Sony Music to release Nas' next two albums. Sony and Def Jam will work together for marketing and distribution and they will also split the profit.According to the source, Nas will get three million as well as a recording budget for his next two albums. After the two albums are done, Def Jam will get two additional albums and Sony will have the right to release Nas' Greatest Hits compilation.Ironically, the two rappers made history at the so-called I Declare War concert. At the event, Nas and Jay made peace after one of rap's most notable beefs and they shook hands to symbolize a unity in hip hop.
